An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy Jews harp (c. 1500-c. 1800).
The iron prong that was plucked to produce a note is missing.
In plan, it has a circular head and tapering arms both of which are characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. The outer diameter of the head is 26.3mm. At the apex, on the front face, there is a rabbet to accommodate an iron prong. File marks are present.
The surfaces are drab green with flecks of a dark green patina.
Length: 58.0mm; width: 26.3mm; thickness: 7.8mm. Weight: 16.79g.

A complete and worn post-Medieval silver halfgroat of James I (1603-1625), minted at London. Initial marks: rose/rose, 1605-1606 (North 1991, 146, ref. 2104).
Obverse: I.D.G ROSA SINE SPINA (a rose without thorns), Rose with crown above.
Reverse: .TVEATVR.VNITA.DEVS. (may God guard these united, i.e. kingdoms), Thistle with crown above.
Diameter: 16.5mm. Weight: 0.67g. DA=12:4.
