A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bow-and-fantail brooch, dating from AD 50 - 150. The only extant part of the brooch is the fantail, which is roughly teardrop in shape, the triangular corners having been worn away. It is decorated with an incised petal or leaf design, above which is the lower half of a linear semicircle. There are also remains of further decoration above the semicircle which has worn away. The tap key is missing and the spigot or pipe (which would have entered the barrel) is damaged. An incomplete cast copper alloy knobbed terret ring of Late Iron Age/Early Roman dating (AD 43 -200). The terret ring when complete would have presumably formed an oval shape in plan. The ring is thicker at the base and narrower at the broken terminals. There is a short narrowed bar section at the base of the terret ring with an inverted triangular shaped broken projection. A Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy pipe tamper, circa AD 1700 - 1900. The tamper is moulded in the form of a horse's leg and hoof. The object is hollow and has a brown coloured patina across all surfaces. There are several examples recorded on the database; SWYOR-2FEE08 was discovered in North Yorkshire and SWYOR-7449E3 discovered in East Riding. The object measures 34.6 mm in length, 21.8 mm in width, 1.8 mm thickness and weighs 15.3 grams.

A complete copper alloy enamelled heraldic horse harness pendant, of medieval dating, circa AD 1200 to AD 1400. The harness pendant is an elaborate quatrefoil shape. The front face has been enamelled, although only traces of red (gules) enamel survive on the outer edges of the pendant. The design in red enamel consists of a series of scrolls. Probably VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP reverse type, depicting two Victories standing holding a wreath with an altar between them. Mint unknown. Compare RIC 53 or 213 for example, for a similar obverse bust. The coin is 16.9mm diameter, 2.4mm thick and 2.49g. Concretion on the reverse makes the design and legend difficult to see.
