VICTORIAE DD AVGGQ NN reverse type depicting two Victories standing facing one another, each holding a wreath and palm. Mint of Trier. RIC VIII, pg 152, no. 199. Diameter 14.83mm and weight 1.60g.

A fragment of a post medieval copper alloy chafing dish, dating to the 16th century. All that remains is part of the rim and one of the arms of the vessel. The arm is trapezoidal in shape, tapering away from the vessel. The object is dark green with patches of light brown patina. Diameter c. 115mm, length of arm 25.14mm and weight 29.04g. Similar examples can be found on the PAS database (WAW-D357DD) and are also published in Lewis (1973, 60-70). They tend to date to the 16th century.

An incomplete Medieval lead seal matrix, dating from AD c.1200-1300. The seal is pointed oval in shape, with an integral attachment lug at one end, which has broken. The front face has an inscription running around the edge of the oval. The inscription reads + SILL' ALICIE BRVN (Seal of Alice Brown). In the centre there is a lozenge-shaped border, inside of which is a fleur de lis. The reverse is flat and undecorated and uninscribed. Length: 35.7mm; Width: 25.1mm; Thickness: 4.3mm; Weight: 23.76g

An incomplete, copper alloy Roman brooch of the Dragonesque type (AD c. 75 - c. 175). The fragment of the brooch is the central S-shaped body with the two zoomorphic heads and pin missing. The body of the brooch is worn and corroded therefore no decoration is visible. The fragment has a light brown and green patina. Length 30.39mm, width 16.49mm and weight 5.16g.

A Roman Samian Ware body sherd possibly from a bowl (AD 50 - 200). The sherd is triangular in plan, rectangular in cross-section and slightly curved in profile. The fabric is hard with an orange core and an orange gloss slip on the outer and inner surfaces. The shred is relief decorated with a ridge running along one edge and a possible leaf and stem design in the centre. Thickness 10.81mm and weight 11.44g.
