Silver sixpence of William III (1694-1702) of unknown bust type. The obverse has the bust of the king facing right with the legend [GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA]. The reverse has crowned cruciform shields with crowns and the legend [MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX]. The coin has been slightly bent into an S shape and may well have been used as a love token. A copper alloy lower blade fragment from a palstave dating to the Middle Bronze Age, circa 1500-1300 BC. The shape of the fragment is sub-triangular in plan and triangular in profile; the cross section at the break is sub-rectangular in form. The blade is broken below the stop ridge, due to this it is uncertain whether this fragment is from a looped - or unlooped palstave variant. An incomplete cast copper-alloy collar originating from a knife and dating to the later Medieval or early Post-Medieval periods, c 1400-1550. It is sub-rectangular in plan and 'D' shaped in section, with a large central rectangular aperture where the collar would have slipped onto the blade and a deep slot on one side. Preserved in good condition with an even green patina, it measures 9.86mm long, 15.12mm wide, and 7.87mm thick. It weighs 3.23g. A number of similar knife collars have been recorded on the PAS database, these include LEIC-5F5A53, LEIC-933794 and LEIC-932A96.
