A complete copper-alloy right-angled drop handle from a vessel, of Medieval dating circa AD 1270 -1350. The handle is complete consisting of a hexagonal shaped shaft in cross section. Extending from either end of the shaft at a right angle are two vertical arms which terminate with animal, possible dog headed terminals. The arms are also hexagonal in cross section. There are acorn knops placed at the top corners of the shaft where they join the arms. At the centre of the horizontal shaft is a rounded swelling. This flake is a dark brown flint with recent damage on the ventral surface. measures 54.88mm long, 18.98mm wide, 5.73mm thick and weighs 4.85g.This flake is an opaque mid brown-green flint with a patch of cortex. The lateral edges have possibly microdenticulates.

Roman (AD c. 350-450) an incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle with a zoomorphic frame. The frame is almost complete. It is a sub D-shape with a slightly narrowed strap bar. The loop opposite has a moulded notch with fine ring-and-dot motif either side. The exterior edge of the corners has a flat projection with abraded edges which would have been a horse. Medieval to Post Medieval (c. 1100 until c. 1850) cooking vessel fragment: The fragment is sub semi-circular in plan which is thickened and an integral sub-rectangular, narrowed block at the lower edge. The lower portion has fine horizontal striations on the exterior and a smooth concave interior. The breaks are not recent. Medieval to Post Medieval (15th to 16th century) scabbard chape: The front plate remains of a cast copper alloy composite chape. The plate is an elongated sub-triangle in plan and 'n' shaped in section. At the lower tip of the chape is a small knop. The upper edge has a sub-'W' shape. There is a single transverse ridge across the outer face, close to the upper edge. The reverse is undecorated and the lower portion of the chape has traces of a back plate.
