A complete flint Handaxe/knife of Upper Palaeolithic to Neolithic date (150,000-3450 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has long scaled flaking and retains cortex along the proximal left hand edge. There is evidence of hinged flake removal along the mesal section. A complete copper-alloy Mount of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1700). The object is an openwork figurative strap fitting or mount and is flat in section, circular in plan. The mount takes the form of a crescent moon with a face in profile, and a six point star protruding from the lower portion. There is an integral semi-circular suspension loop. The object is a sub-cruciform, sheet of copper alloy, with a single circular perforation and an incised decorative pattern on one face. A fragment of a Pin of Early-Medieval date (AD 700-850). The retained fragment in head of the pin. The head is polyhedral, taking the form of a cuboid with truncated corners. A single ring-and-dot punchmark decorate each of the four vertical faces, with a single such mark on every remaining face. There is no clear collar, a minor amount of the circular-cross-sectioned shaft is retained. The metal is a dark green in colour with areas of light green corrosion. A complete silver medieval finger ring, dating from 1100-1500 AD. The ring has a central rectangular bezel, which arches out slightly from the main hoop. The rectangular bezel is plain and undecorated. On each side of the bezel are two rectangular projections, projecting out on both sides of the hoop. These are decorated with vertical incised lines. The hoop is oval shaped, and D shaped in cross section. The hoop has been slightly distorted. The ring is a dark grey silver colour. It measures 19.2mm by 18.6mm, and has a maximum thickness of 3.3mm. It weighs 1.59g.
