A complete flint Handaxe/knife of Upper Palaeolithic to Neolithic date (150,000-3450 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has long scaled flaking and retains cortex along the proximal left hand edge. There is evidence of hinged flake removal along the mesal section. A complete copper alloy Buckle of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date (AD 1500-1650). The object is a single loop, sub-rectangular buckle with a narrowed strap bar and a rounded notched front edge. The front edge is decorated with transverse lines and foliate designs flanking the knop. There are lobed and engraved knops wither side of the strap bar. The mend is of a lozenge shaped sheet of copper alloy folded in on itself, to create a sub-rectangular plate which would have had two sub-triangular prongs projecting from the reverse; both prongs are lost to a patinated break. The mount takes the form of a crescent moon with a face in profile, and a six point star protruding from the lower portion. There is an integral semi-circular suspension loop. A complete copper alloy Casket Key of Medieval date (AD 1150-1450). The key comprises a circular loop, from which an oval cross-sectioned bow extends. A rectangular cross-sectioned bit projects at 90 degrees from the bow. This narrows to a neck, and then expands out again. The bow appears to be hollow at the terminal with the bit. A fragment of a copper alloy rotary Key of Medieval date (AD 1100-1500). The bow and handle are missing due to an old abraded break. The retained portion of stem above the bit is a flattened oval in cross section with a concave end. The bit is rectangular. It has rectangular section wards in both the leading and trailing edges creating an "S" shape and the lower section of the bit has six, shallow, vertical wards. Incomplete copper alloy umbonate plate brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Chapter 7 Type 6.d. The boss exhibits two concentric rings of triangular cells, some of whcih retain traces of blue enamel. This is then bordered by a concentric groove flanked on either side by a prominent ridge. The bordering flange is heavily damaged, but retains traces of three projecting rounded lobes, each of which bears a stamped dot and circle.
