A complete flint Handaxe/knife of Upper Palaeolithic to Neolithic date (150,000-3450 BC). The lithic is sub-triangular plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has long scaled flaking and retains cortex along the proximal left hand edge. There is evidence of hinged flake removal along the mesal section. It demonstrates a slightly domed sub-circular body (parts of the edges of which are broken away in old damage) with an attachment lug projecting from its rear face. An incomplete copper alloy Mount of Early Medieval date (AD 410-1066). The object is a sub-cruciform, sheet of copper alloy, with a single circular perforation and an incised decorative pattern on one face.
