An incomplete iron object, possibly a conical ferrule dating to the Roman period. The object consists of a circular-section shaft, broken around a socket at one end. There is possibly wood preserved inside. The other end tapers towards a break. The object measures 106mm in length with a maximum external diameter of 21mm and internal diameter of 10mm. It weighs 62 grams.

Early post-medieval cast copper alloy dress fastener (the loop or eye section of a two-part clasp), similar to Class A as defined by Read (2008, 164). The object is oval with two rectangular projections on either side.There are three rounded attachment knops - one at the end of the oval, and two either side of the rectangular 'eye' which is broken.The central oval has relief moulded decoration, which appears to be a cherub face with scrolls either side.The reverse of the object is undecorated. Length: 35.3mm; width: 21.3mm; thickness: 1.4mm; weight: 4.4g

Roman copper alloy zoomorphic spindle from a pair of dividers in the form of a bird perched on the top of a shaft. The pointed oval head has a blind hole drilled on either side of the head The wings are splayed out from the body and slightly recessed. The body tapers into the tail. The feathers on wings and tail are both indicated by a series of fine engraved lines. The integrally cast cylindrical shank exhibits a vertical perforation 5mm long. The tip exhibits a circumferential grooved collar. A similar example with a bovine-headed terminal was found in Suffolk in 2004 (SF-A3C1A5).

This flake is a dark brown flint with recent damage on the ventral surface. measures 54.88mm long, 18.98mm wide, 5.73mm thick and weighs 4.85g.This flake is an opaque mid brown-green flint with a patch of cortex. The lateral edges have possibly microdenticulates.
