Cast copper alloy, shield-shaped, heraldic harness pendant of probable 14th-century date (c.1250 - 1450). The pendant is mostly complete apart from the suspension loop which is partially missing. An integral cast suspension loop located at the centre of the upper edge of the pendant is partially intact with traces of gilding. The loop is set at an angle of 90 degrees to the plane of the pendant. The pierced loop is incomplete. A medieval copper alloy suspension mount for a harness pendant dating 13th -14th century. The mount has a slightly domed circular face with two suspension loops projecting from the lower surface and a stud, slightly off centre, on the reverse. The suspension loops appear to have been cast as an integral part of the object, and would have had an axis pin from which the harness pendant suspends.There are possible traces of the axis pin in one of the loops. Length: 21.7mm; width: 16.0mm; thickness including the stud: 10.5mm; weight: 5.1g. See LON-792357 on the database for a similar example.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant suspension mount dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It demonstrates a slightly domed sub-circular body (parts of the edges of which are broken away in old damage) with an attachment lug projecting from its rear face. At the base of the mount is a projecting tab with an internal rectangular slot to accomodate the suspension loop of the pendant itself, folded back on itself as a way of securing the accompanying axis bar. An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period, c. 1100-1250. The suspension loop and part of one side are broken in old damage, but otherwise the object is preserved intact. It consists a leaf-shaped plate with a suspension loop turned at a perpendicular plane to the main body of the object at its apex, the upper portion of which is missing.
