Cast copper alloy, shield-shaped, heraldic harness pendant of probable 14th-century date (c.1250 - 1450). The pendant is mostly complete apart from the suspension loop which is partially missing. An integral cast suspension loop located at the centre of the upper edge of the pendant is partially intact with traces of gilding. The loop is set at an angle of 90 degrees to the plane of the pendant. The pierced loop is incomplete. A fragment of a copper-alloy openwork harness pendant or sword belt fitting dating to the second or third century AD. The fragment comprises a portion of a flat, openwork plate which is semi-circular in plan and is likely to form the base of the pendant. The fragment measures 31mm in width, 1mm in thickness.

Incomplete, worn and corroded copper alloy armorial horse harness pendant, shield-shaped, with point bent back onto the reverse, suspension-loop broken across perforation, much red emamel survives, surface treatment of metal missing. Width 25.5mm. Extant height (unbent) 42mm. Blazon: ?Or/?Argent a maunch Gules. Probably for Hastings (Or a maunch Gules) or de Tony (Argent a maunch Gules), see Corder (1965), column 403. Late 13th - 14th century.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant suspension mount dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It demonstrates a slightly domed sub-circular body (parts of the edges of which are broken away in old damage) with an attachment lug projecting from its rear face. At the base of the mount is a projecting tab with an internal rectangular slot to accomodate the suspension loop of the pendant itself, folded back on itself as a way of securing the accompanying axis bar. The suspension loop and part of one side are broken in old damage, but otherwise the object is preserved intact. It consists a leaf-shaped plate with a suspension loop turned at a perpendicular plane to the main body of the object at its apex, the upper portion of which is missing. A complete copper alloy Harness Pendant of Medieval date (AD 1100 - 1250). The object is circular in plane and concavo-convex in section. From the upper edge of the object an integral suspension loop projects at 90 degrees to the plate. The loop has a central circular perforation.
