Roman copper alloy zoomorphic spindle from a pair of dividers in the form of a bird perched on the top of a shaft. The pointed oval head has a blind hole drilled on either side of the head The wings are splayed out from the body and slightly recessed. The body tapers into the tail. The feathers on wings and tail are both indicated by a series of fine engraved lines. The integrally cast cylindrical shank exhibits a vertical perforation 5mm long. The tip exhibits a circumferential grooved collar. A similar example with a bovine-headed terminal was found in Suffolk in 2004 (SF-A3C1A5).

The loop expands from a worn break into the shoulder which exhibits a lenticular moulding below a narrow transverse collar followed by a domed oval boss. Incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring of Henig's Type VIIIa dating to the period c. AD 150 - 300. The oval bezel has a raised collar decorated with three pairs of risges on either side. The recess is filled with soil and traces of a degraded off-white substance, probably an adhesive for a missing paste or glass setting. On one side of the bezel is a transverse break. On the other side is a D-shaped shoulder, tapering into the remains of the loop which terminates in a worn break.

Incomplete Late Iron Age to Early Roman Langton Down brooch of Mackreth's Chapter 2, Type 2.b dating to the period c. AD 25 - 60. The wings form a cylindrical hood which house the remains of the spring and axis bar. There is a pointed oval slot cut in the centre to house the missing pin. The bow is divided from the spring case by a crescentic cross-moulding. The bow tapers from the head and terminates in an old break. It exhibits reeded longitudinal moulding. The lower, bow, foot and catchplate are missing. See@ Mackreth, D.F., 2011, Vol. I, p. 33 - 34.

Early Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch, comprising full-round waisted top knob, small head-plate with chamfered sides and traces of a possible binding or textile in corrosion on the face, sides and reverse, where it lies above a single pin lug with a (probably secondary and possibly re-used Roman) sprung copper alloy pin corroded onto one side. Incomplete copper alloy umbonate plate brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Chapter 7 Type 6.d. The boss exhibits two concentric rings of triangular cells, some of whcih retain traces of blue enamel. This is then bordered by a concentric groove flanked on either side by a prominent ridge. The bordering flange is heavily damaged, but retains traces of three projecting rounded lobes, each of which bears a stamped dot and circle.
