A copper-alloy unidentified object of uncertain function, possibly post-Medieval (c. 1600-c. 1800). This object is flat, oval in plan and has a central rectangular slot. The slot measures 16.0mm x 6.8mm. Each end is down-turned and the front face has a transverse indentation adjacent to the slot. The object has a green patina. Length: 28.8mm; width: 22.3mm; thickness: 3.0mm. Weight: 7.24g.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy heraldic harness mount (c. 1200-c. 1400). The mount is in the form of a flat topped 'heater' shield. At the front, the shield bears a fretty device below the chief. The lozengiform recesses may have been filled with enamel but none is present. There is no visible surface treatment on the front. The rear face is plain and has a central integral spike which is square in cross-section. The chief has been cleaned and the bare metal is visible in places. Williamson (1967, 979) notes two varieties of this token, based on the spelling of Froome - FROOMB and FROOME. Given the comment from Kieran McCarthy of Wartski (see below), it is highly likely this is the missing setting for finger-ring HAMP-6C5109 / 2017 T761 (pictured). Twelve flint scrapers probably from the Paleolithic dating to c 450,000-420,000 BC. Cortex is visible on some of the pieces and evidence of recortexing on one of the pieces. There is evidence of a bulb of percussion and concoidal rings on the ventral surfaces of all the pieces. The patina of the cortex is yellowish cream cortex with black flecks.
