A complete cast copper-alloy strap loop dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. It is trapezoidal in plan, with a pointed internal projection either side of the frame towards its back edge. Preserved in fair condition with an even greenish patina, it measures 19.96mm in length at the front edge of its frame, 18.59mm wide, and 1.42mm thick. It weighs 1.72g. A similar strap loop has been recorded on the PAS database, see IOW-32C581. See also examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 231-233, fig. 149).

A comp[lete cast copper-alloy bar mount with pendant loop dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. The object consists of a mount that takes the form of an elongated sub-rectangular bar, looped at its base and both sides connected at its upper edge by a separate rivet (still surviving in-situ). Suspended from the loop itself is a small circular ring, rough-cast and of varying thickness around its circumference. An incomplete cast copper-alloy belt or strap fitting of probable military origin dating to the Roman period, c. 150-410 AD. Only the midsection and lower portion survive, with the upper part of the object missing in an old irregular break. The midsection appears originally to have been circular in plan, with a concave back and demonstrating moulded scalloped decoration on its upper face.
