A complete cast lead-alloy groat sized Boy Bishop token of Rigold's type X- uninscribed Bury series, dating c. 1470-1539. Obverse: crude mitre with crozier in front, pseudo-legend of curvilinear motifs. Reverse: long cross quartering token, three pellets in each angle, pseudo-legend of curvilinear motifs. C.f Rigold 1978, plate XI, fig. k. The token appears to have been slightly clipped.

A complete Cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. The token has a raised design of the capital letters I I with a pellet in between with a line below. The other side is blank. It is 29.04 mm in diameter, 1.60 mm thick and weighs 7.2 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, dated examples are rare and this helps confirm the usual identification of examples with initials as Post Medieval in date.
