A fragment of Romano-British (AD 43-410) ceramic box flue tile. It has an L-shaped profile, retaining vertical parallel combed grooves on one face. The fabric is oxidised, sandy, micaceous and with numerous small holes from eroded-out inclusions. It measures 64.0x53.4x18.6mm and weighs 64.03g. Box flue tiles were used to create flues in the walls of a building, through which hot air generated by the hypocaust system would pass. The linear grooves decorating the surfaces are keying to improve the adhesion of wall plaster.

The fabric is dark in colour and micaceous with numerous holes from eroded-out inclusions. The fragments measure 36.3x23.7x5.9mm and 38.6x30.1x8.3mm (handle projection 17.7x10.1mm) and they collectively weigh 25.95g.

A complete cast copper-alloy heraldic mount dating to the Medieval period, probably c. 1200-1314. It is shield-shaped in plan, with a sturdy projecting attachment lug (circular-sectioned) projecting from its rear face. The mount is blazoned with the arms of de Clare; Or, three chevronels gules, the gold achieved by the means of applied gilding and the red indicated by enamel inlays. An incomplete post medieval (c.1700-1800) copper alloy buckle frame, probably from a shoe. It is oval in shape and missing most of the separate iron central spindle (corrosion adhereing to the inside edge of opposing sides of the frame). The frame is decorated to the upper, convex surface with parallel transverse grooves. The buckle measures 27.2mm in length, 21.8mm wide, max.4.1mm thick and weighs 4.58g. The metal has a shiny, smooth surface to both sides with traces of tinning. Cf. Whitehead no.600, which he dates to 1660-1720.

A complete copper-alloy medieval whittle-tang knife hilt plate, dating to period c.AD 1100-1400 (or possibly a modern rove). The hilt plate is sub-lozengiform in plan with a narrow rectangular perforation in the centre 4.42mm in length and 1.48mm in width for tang. The plate is 16.96mm wide, 30.27mm long and 0.78mm thick and weighs 2.71g. The hilt plate is similar to no. 644 in Read, 2001, pg. 88.

A post-medieval cast copper-alloy double looped oval buckle dating to period AD 1550-1650. The frame comprises of two oval loops with a central bar flanked by a pair of flanged crescentic mouldings, which break the line of the loops. An iron pin survives in situ. The buckle is 34.37mm in length, 30.47mm in width, 2.4mm in thickness and weighs 6.52g. A similar buckle is illustrated by Read (1988: 123, no. 24), dated to c. 1600-1650.
