Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Type CD Ha 2 dating to the period c. AD 55 - 150. The C-shaped wings have a pierced double lug to house the axis bar and chord. A longitudinal groove runs down the centre of the bow and exhibts a series of cross-cuts. It terminates in a worn break.
