Incomplete medieval - post medieval copper alloy tumbrel dating to the period c. AD 1250 - 1550. It commences in a break along the line of the perforations for holding the fulcrum. Incomplete rectangular body with long edges bent at a right-angle forming a hollow back. It tapers into a narrowed collar, followed by a lozengiform base-plate, terminating in a rounded knop. A complete Medieval Irish cut farthing of Henry III (1216-1272), minted by Ricard at Dublin (c. 1251-c. 1254). Obverse: h[ENRI/CVSR/EX I]II; Crowned bust facing within a single triangle. Reverse: RIC/[ARD]/[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Length: 9.1mm; width: 9.0mm. Weight: 0.38g. Central pellets don't appear to be joined to the crown band so will probably be class 2 onwards.

Incomplete medieval to post medieval leg from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top. Broadly trapezoidal in cross-section, the leg is angled and expands at the bottom into a blunt trapezoidal foot. The vessels to which these were attached were usually of a tripod form and were widely used from circa AD 1200-1700 for serving and cooking. The outside of the thimble has four horizontal lines of circular indentations or hand drilled pits. The inside of the thimble is undecorated. The metal is brown in colour with areas of green pitted corrosion. Height: 11.06mm, Diameter: 22.13mm, Thickness: 1.43mm, Weight: 6.2g.
