A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant of small size dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. Only the pendant itself survives, with the hanger and suspension mount both missing in old damage. It is shield shaped in plan, with a projecting broken suspension loop turned at a plane of 90 degrees projecting from the upper edge of the object. Both sides of the object demonstrate copious traces of a white metal coating, though no inlaid enamelling is visible as is often the norm with these objects.
