A Post Medieval copper alloy mount with integral pointed lugs, dating to the 17th century and possibly later. The mount is oval-shaped in plan and undecorated. It is convex at the front and flat at the back. At the back, at opposite ends of the oval, two pointed, circular cross-sectioned lugs project rearwards. The oval measures 8.6 x 7.4mm and is 1.6mm thick. The lugs are 4.5mm long and 2.0mm in diameter at their bases. The piece weighs 0.47g. An fragment of a copper alloy Roman brooch, probably part of a Langton Down brooch, dating to the 1st century CE. Only part of the bow remains, with the distinctive vertical grooves. See Hattatt 2000, pg 306, no 770. The fragment measures 29.1mm long, 8.5mm wide on the bow. It is 1.1mm thick; 3.2mm thick with remains of the catch plate. It weighs 1.31 grams.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamelled disc plate brooch (AD 80-250). This brooch is of the flat and plain-edged type. The spring mechanism, pin and a part of the catch-plate are missing. The front surface of the brooch is flat and has a narrow raised rim, inside of which is a trace of blue enamel. A small part of the rim is damaged. At the centre is a worn copper alloy ring (10.9mm diameter) around a central circular cell which is empty. Around the ring are six evenly spaced ring-and-pellets (circlets/rings-and-dot).
