A complete Post-Medieval lead vessel dating to 1704. The vessel is broadly rectangular in shape and inscribed on the inside of the base with the date 1704, having been stamped. The vessel is somewhat damaged, with the edges of the vessel folding inwards.

An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular two piece shoe buckle of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1720-1790). The buckle is sub-rectangular with rounded corners. The buckle contains knobs in the centre of each part of the frame. The spindle has been lost but traces of iron corrosion indicate where it would have been.
The object is similar in form to examples seen in Whitehead (1996: 102-104). Whitehead notes that Georgian shoe buckles increased in size during the course of the 18th century reaching a circa 65mm frame in the 1760s. The frame of this buckle is 66.5mm and it likely dates to t…

An incomplete, copper alloy, late Iron Age to early Roman bow brooch, of the Colchester type. Spring, pin and catch plate missing, as is the tip of the bow. Simple spring hook intact, either side of which are two, short flattened wings. The bow is oval in cross-section and has along its outside length a narrow decorative groove, infilled with a cheveron pattern. Length 51.2 mm., Width 15.7 mm. Thickness 3.1 mm, Weight 7.22 g. ref. An incomplete Post-Medieval cast lead or tin alloy one-piece button dating to the late 16th century or possibly early 17th century. The button is conical and would have contained an integral undrilled shank which has broken off. Its head is surmounted with a central pellet and quatrefoil design on a hatched field.
Diameter: 17.5mm; Weight: 5.45g; Thickness: 6.7mm.
A button with similar decoration has been published and dated to the late c.16th century (Read 2005: pg 80, ref: 306). The example in Read was also found in Nottinghamshire.
