A copper alloy early-medieval strap end dating to the 9th century AD. The strap end is a Class B Type 2: Trewhiddle type with zoomorphic terminal and wedge end decorations. There is a double line border on on the decorations. The strap end has a slightly tapered shaft.
Dimensions: Length: 43.63mm, Width at wedge end: 10.33mm, Width at terminal: 6.23mm, Thickness: 2.32mm, Weight: 4.48g.

A possible Early Medieval lead alloy gaming piece, dating from AD 800-1000. The object is circular in section and domed, with a slight slant to it. The underside is slightly hollow. It is 14.7 mm in diameter and 13.6mm high. It weighs 17.43gm. It has a well developed cream patina.
Similar objects such as LEIC-F39697 and LIN-6BFDEB have been identified as Viking gaming pieces. This identification is more secure when the piece has a decorated top such as crenelations or a crown.
