A post-medieval silver plated copper alloy contemporary copy halfcrown of Charles I (1625-1649). Group III (North 2213). London (Tower) mint (AD 1644-1645). The coin is somewhat corroded on the obvserse and severely corroded on the reverse. It has been perforated which could have been to take it out of circulation, or may reflect possible reuse as a pendant. Weight: 14.28g; Diameter: 37.2mm; Thickness: 2.4mm
