An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, La Tene I type, dating to the 4th - 3rd century BC. The item consists of part of the arched bow with part of the catchplate. The spring, pin and end of the catchplate are all missing. The bow is D shape in section and U shape in profile, arching strongly out from the head which has broken away at an early date. The bow widens, then tapers towards the catchplate which then turns upwards. Part of this upward section has also broken away at an early date. The brooch is undecorated. It is 26.95mm in length, 8.62mm in width and weighs 4g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch, possibly a Colchester two piece or a T shape type, dating to the 1st or 2nd century AD. The item consists of the lower part of the bow with the catchplate intact. The bow, of which ony a little survives above the catchplate, appears to have been flat, and is decorated with three raised rdges, one at each edge and one centrally, this decoration ceasing about 17mm from a rounded foot. The catchplate extends c14mm backwards from the bow. The fragment is 32.73mm in length, 6.84mm in width and weighs 3.51g.

An incomplete copper-alloy one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type of the Late Iron Age or Early Roman period (c. AD 10-c. AD 100). Some of the spring, the pin and catch-plate are missing. The brooch has a head with an internal chord. It has an incomplete bilateral four-coil spring which extended to form the pin, now missing. The upper part of the bow is triangular in plan, C shape in section, and tapers to the point where the catchplate would flare out but this is entirely missing except for a small flat section. An incomplete lead-alloy bag seal, probably dating to the modern period, perhaps c 1800 - 1920. The seal comprises two flat circular discs, joined at one point with a small rectangular connecting strip and joined also in two further sections of the arc. A post medieval lead alloy openwork lid or side panel probably from a piece of toy furniture dating 16th - 17th century AD. The panel is rectangular, ladder-like in appearance, with two side bars (or a top and lower bar) and 'rungs' between. Each of the bars is oval or sub rectangular in section, one thicker that the other, the first 2.37mm x 1.57mm, the second 1.75mm x 1.15mm.
