An incomplete post-medieval lead alloy two-disc cloth seal issued at Haarlem in the Netherlands (c. 1600-c. 1700). An incomplete disc and the central rivet integral to that disc survive. The edges of the disc are worn and the connecting strip is missing. The outer face of the disc is stamped with the arms of Haarlam: an elaborate shield, a vertical sword and four stars arranged two each side of the sword. The legend is illegible.
