Medieval copper alloy rowel from a spur. Five-pointed star with each arm thicker in the centre tapering down to the edges. Basal junction of each arm delineated in grooves forming a chevron leading to a central round axial hole. The thicker section down the centre of the arms is flattened and is decorated with a continuous row of oblique grooves. Significant gilding survives. Circa AD 13th -15th C.

Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy brooch, a Small-long or a Cruciform, rectangular headplate, faceted bow and the upper part of the foot survive, terminal missing. Some of the original edge of the headplate is missing. At the top and base of the triangular-sectioned bow a narrow rectangular panel forms the facets. On the reverse is a single pin lug lies within the corroded remains of the spring and the catchplate contains a corroded fragment of the iron pin. Ancient breaks. Extant length 51.5mm. Extant width 25mm. Weighs 13.90g. c.480 - c.530.

Copper alloy guard, with blade and tang fragment, probably from the hilt of an Iron Age or Roman dagger of 1st century AD date. Sub-oval in plan with a truncated conical top widening on either side to form the wings of the guard. The upper face of the wings curve up slightly at either end whilst the centre is raised in a smooth ogive shaped arch. The base of the guard is flat, around which there are three parallel decorative moulded bands.
