A fragment of a foot ring from a cast copper-alloy ewer, flagon or candle holder. The fragment is 75 mm in length, 30 mm deep or wide and 2 mm in thickness and weighing 22.2 g. The fragment has been flattened, with a height of 15 mm, and twisted but the curvature suggests a diameter of around 100 mm. The underside is rough and pitted from the casting process and the outer or lower edge is worn through use. A rim fragment from a cast copper alloy cauldron. The fragment is 123 mm in width, 51 mm in height and 3.5 mm thick, widening to 5 mm thick at the rim and a weight of 161.9 g. The rim is out-turned and bevelled on its inner edge; the outer edge is flattened, partly by filing away the surplus metal after casting. The curvature of the rim suggests that it would have been 280 mm in diameter which falls comfortably within the normal range for a cauldron and suggests a vessel with a capacity of between 4½ and 6 gallons. A fragment of copper alloy Roman brooch consisting of the lower bow and catchplate only, probably of Colchester two-piece or Colchester derivative type, dating to c. AD 25 - 150. The catchplate extends behind the lower bow and is triangular in shape with an openwork central ring, a sub-triangular area below and irregular four-sided area above (with one concave edge). A copper-alloy post-medieval pierced French jetton issued under the reigns of Charles V to Charles VI and dating from about AD 1373 - 1415. It is a "Dolphin" type with the obverse inscription LE NOBLE ET FIER, an abbreviated version of LE NOBLE ET FIER POI ("Noble and proud fish"). Compare Mitchiner, Volume I, page 184, number 487. A complete lead alloy rod in the form of a pencil, probably of Medieval to post-Medieval date (c. 1200 - c. 1850). This object is circular in cross-section with a tapering point at one end and is longitudinally faceted in places.
