A complete Post-Medieval knife dating to AD 1700 to 1800. The knife has an iron blade and scale tange with a bone handle. The blade is sub-oval in shape with a pointed tip. It is 4.2mm in maximum thickness, reducing to 0.5mm in thickness. The blade is rectangular in cross-section at the bolster end and sub-oval in cross-section at the tip. The blade is 122.5mm in length, and 23.6mm in maximum width. On one side of the blade near the bolster there is a quality mark of the crown above an X. There is white residue on both sides of the blade covering the possible maker's marks at one end.…

An incomplete lead ampulla, the neck and both handles being missing, though the stump of one remains at the left of the severed neck. The surface of the object is covered in a layer of powdery lead corrosion. The front is moulded in a series of curvilinear rays giving the impression of a bivalve shell, possibly a scallop, which is often a symbol asssociated with connections to St James of Compostela. The reverse is scratched and pitted and any deliberate marking is obfuscated, but it is possible the back was plain. The design is similar to PUBLIC-B3E28A and NMGW-600111

A Medieval cast copper alloy buckle dating from mid 14th to late 15th centuries. The buckle has a simple trapezoidal frame with a pin looped around one side and resting on its opposite side. The non-parallel sides of the frame are almost square in cross-section with a beveled inner edge on the front. An incomplete, cast copper alloy mount of the Medieval period (AD1200 -1500). The mount is in the shape of a shield with a straight top edge leading to a rounded point at the bottom. The whole of the front of the shield curves towards the back which is slightly convex and is mainly filled with a large central stud. The face of the shield has a large patch of iron corrosion which could have come from part of the decoration or from an iron object buried nearby.There is no visible sign of decoration due to heavy corrosion and slight damage. A complete cast lead-alloy weight of probable Post-Medieval date, c. 1500-1800. It is circular in plan, with a moulded design on its upper surface consisting a large raised pellet-in-ring motif. Preserved in fair condition with an even whitish patina, it measures 28.46mm in diameter, 5.79mm thick, and weighs 27.06g. Weights of this form were probably home-made and widely used for a variety of different functions. Most are Post-Medieval, though some may be slightly earlier.

Mint of Arles, third workshop. The coin is 15.5mm diameter, 3mm thick and 3.33g. The thickness of this coin suggests it could be a contemporary copy.
