A copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Constantine, dating to the period AD 343-348 (Reece period 17). An overstruck VICTORIAE DD AVGG Q NN reverse type, depicting two victories facing eachother with wreaths over a supporting column. Minted in Arles.

A copper alloy Roman coin; a probable contemporary copy of a nummus of the House of Valentinian (AD 364 - 378), (Reece Period 19), GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor advancing right, dragging a captive and holding a standard. Mint of Arles, third workshop. The coin is 15.5mm diameter, 3mm thick and 3.33g. The thickness of this coin suggests it could be a contemporary copy.
