A copper alloy Medieval single looped buckle dating to the period AD 1250 to 1400. It has five transverse grooves around the front edge. The sides are semi-circular with a straight pin bar at the back. Part of the pin is still in situ and is moveable. Similar to Buckles 1250 - 1800, Ross Whitehead p27 No 135.
