Two ceramic sherds dating to the Roman period, c. 43-410 AD. The first, a thin-walled sherd consisting the rim and shoulder of an uncertain vessel form, demonstrating a rounded rim, generally blackish fabric and fairly frequent sandy inclusions. The second, a small and heavily abraded body sherd of micaceous greyware. Combined weight: 12.71g.

A small assemblage of seven ceramic sherds dating to the Medieval period, c. 1150-1400. All are Medieval Coarseware (MCW) with fabric colours ranging from mid brown and grey to buff, all with frequent inclusions of sand visible. Represented within the assemblage are four body sherds, one rim sherd and two body/base sherds. One of the body sherds demonstrates the remains of a light greenish glaze intermittently covering its outer surface. Combined weight: 35.79g.

A complete cast lead personal seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1300. Slightly bent in profile, it takes the form of a pointed oval and is flat, with a projecting suspension lug at its apex accompanied by a prominent midrib. The seal die is engraved with the symmetrical central design of a wheatsheaf within a solid inner border, around which the inscription; +S' ISABELLE .FIL. Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative Springhead brooch of Mackreth's (2011) CD Ha Type 2.d, dating to the period c. AD 55 - 150. The wings are plain and curved to house the spring. Projecting from the centre of the head is a double pierced lug with a small crest which houses the spring chord running down the top of the head. The spring retains eight loops, one of which becomes the pin and termiantes in an old break. The bow arches back from the head and is plain. Fragment of a late medieval - post medieval copper alloy candlestick dating to the period c. AD 1475 - 1600. Circular sectioned with a flared collar approximately halfway along the remaining length. It terminates in an old break at either end. Egan (2005: 81, nos. 337-338) publishes a pair of very similar candle sticks of two different lengths with varying numbers of collars, both excavated in 16th century contexts in London. Brownsword (1985, no. 7) illustrates another similar candlestick which he dates to the late 15th or early 16th centuries. cf. SOM-581B96 on this database.

Incomplete lead figurine of probable post medieval date (c. AD 1550 - 1750). Moulded in three dimensions. The hair is worn in a bun, the facial feautes appear heavily worn. The left arm is crossed across the front of the torso, and bent upwards at the elbow. The right arm is crossed across the body, the hand covering the groin. Both legs terminate in old breaks and appear to have had a small gap between.

Post medieval copper alloy hooked plate from a sword belt dating to the period c. AD 1600 - 1700. Symmetrical elongated plate with reserve foliate decoration and a plain reserve border. It exhibits three rivet holes, one at the bottom edge and two along the top edge and a projecting hook curving from the top. Similar examples, still mounted on their plates include: WILT-2A3342 & KENT-434311.
