A Post Medieval cast copper alloy pot foot with a small remnant of the pot attached, dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The foot is triangular in cross-section, tapering downwards. There are three longitudinal, convex raised ribs running down the front, the central rib protruding further than the others (thus forming the triangular cross-section), and extending further up as it joins the remnant of the pot body. The ribs come together towards the base of the foot. The back of the foot is flat. It has an old irregular break at the lower end. The leg widens and spreads outwards towards the pot …
