A sub-pointed oval end and side scraper. Formed from a secondary flake with some cortex remaining, it is mottled pale grey in colour. Two long parallel flakes heve been struck from the dorsal side. The ventral side has a low bulb of percussion with ripples of percussion emanating from it. There is short, semi-abrupt retouch to the distil end and right mesal.
Length: 44.7mm, width: 30.5mm and thickness: 7.8mm. Weight: 12.3g.

Complete but broken Medieval copper alloy purse bar dating from c. AD 1400 to 1550. Both parts found seperatly on different dates 27 Metres apart, certain they belong together to make the item whole. A horizontal circular cross sectioned bar with one that has broken with an oblong block in the centre, the end of the bars terminate in a globular knob with a spiral design. A verticle bar with a loop at the top passes through the central block and can swivel, the bottom is formed to prevent slipping through the swivel point.

Description: Incomplete gilded silver object, probably an element from a composite hooked tag of Read’s (2008) Class C. It comprises a rectangular openwork plate, C-shaped in cross-section and open at each end. The openwork is a lattice design with a raised pellet at each intersection. The centre of each crossing strip is recessed.

An incomplete iron object of Unknown date and uncertain function. Possibly Medieval or post-Medieval.
This object is sub rectangular in plan and sub-oval in cross-section. One edge is flat and the opposite end is pointed. The object is sheathed/encased in sheet copper-alloy which has transverse grooves. An abutting seam can be seen on one face. Traces of gilding are present on the copper-alloy.

An incomplete copper-alloy and iron knife and knife end cap of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1600. The end cap has a double loop terminal with an integral rectangular shaft with transverse slot for the tag of the knife. The remaining portion of the knife is triangular in plan with a short length of tang to one end.
The end cap is 20.2mm long, 11.3mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 2.7g.
The knife is 69.9mm long, 19.7mm wide, 4.8mm thick and weighs 10.5g.
End-caps such as this example are dated to the 16th century (Geake, 2001).
