Complete but broken Medieval copper alloy purse bar dating from c. AD 1400 to 1550. Both parts found seperatly on different dates 27 Metres apart, certain they belong together to make the item whole. A horizontal circular cross sectioned bar with one that has broken with an oblong block in the centre, the end of the bars terminate in a globular knob with a spiral design. A verticle bar with a loop at the top passes through the central block and can swivel, the bottom is formed to prevent slipping through the swivel point. An incomplete copper-alloy strap end of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450. The strap end is formed of a folding sheet though only one plate now survives. It is triangular in plan and rectangular in section and appears undecorated. The plate is broken at both ends and the surface is worn. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 32.5mm long, 9.3mm wide, 1.8mm thick and weighs 1.6g. A similar strap end is illustrated in Egan & Pritchard (2002), p.159, fig.159, no.757.

An incomplete copper-alloy annular brooch of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1450. The fragment is curved with an ovate section. It is decorated on the upper surface with thirteen (13) pellets flanked by crude irregular transverse incised lines. The reverse is undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The fragment is 27.7mm long, 5.9mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.7g. Similar brooches are illustrated in Egan & Pritchard (2002), p.249, fig.160.

Possible furniture mount, two copper alloy sheet plates (16 x 16mm and 17 x 17mm) secured by four copper alloy rivets and containing fragments of wood (thickness 7mm). Engraved decoration on both faces, one face comprising: an engraved border with an engraved line projecting inwards from each side and ending in a perforation, between the arms of a saltire; the other face with an engraved border with an engraved line projecting inwards from each side and ending in an arrow head and perforation, between pairs of oblique lines forming the arms of a cross paty. 9mm thick. 14th century.

Very unusual medieval zoomorphic strap fitting or book mount, sub-circular domed with (missing) separate central rivet, six perforations comprise a pair of eyes, a nose represented by a triangular arrangement of three small perforations and an oval slot for the mouth. Further decoration comprises a triangular arrangement of engraved lines on the forehead, a vertical line on both sides defining slight lobes for a pair of ears. Height 18mm. Width 17mm. Height 4mm. 14th century.

An incomplete lead-alloy seal matrix of medieval date, AD 1250 - 1450. The seal matrix is circular with a central design featuring a forward facing bust surrounded by eleven (11) stars. The design is within a circumferential inscription which reads: *S' : IONIS : D' : SAN[-]'. An incomplete lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1550. The body of the ampulla is circular with an elongated rectangular neck extending from one edge. Two semi-circular attachment loops project, one from either side of the neck where it meets the body. The opening at the top of the neck has been pinched shut and the ampulla appears undecorated. The metal has a light yellowish-white patina and is worn. The ampulla is 52.3mm long, 33.7mm wide, 8.6mm thick and weighs 41.6g.
