A complete, damaged and squashed post-Medieval silver closed thimble (c. 1750-c. 1900). This thimble has sides sloping towards the domed crown. The upper half has horizontal lines of sub-circular indentations or pits. The crown has concentric rings of similar but smaller pits. The lower half has meandering lines of punched marks forming decoration. The rim is plain. Height: 21.4mm; width: 21.1mm; thickness: 8.0mm. Weight: 2.59g.

An incomplete copper alloy scabbard chape of probable post-medieval date (1500-1700), perhaps a little earlier. It is missing part of the tip (old break). The object is hollow with moulded decoration to the outside surface. It is triangular in shape with the apex/ tip missing and a central projection on both faces at the short, open end (opposite the tip). The edges of the object are decorated with six to seven moulded diagonal ribs, parallel to each other and with furrowed areas between. A cast copper alloy clog clasp with blunt-hooked clasp. Cast, one-piece, slightly convex 'U'-shaped thin object with hook at the rounded end, and small extension at centre-bottom of the straighter end. The object is decorated with a moulded impressed design of five-pointed shapes joined by slightly looping lines, surrounding a symmetrical, vertical arrangement of eight dots, with a ninth at the centre-top. The back appears to be undecorated, although some vertical lines are visible. The object has a rusted brown to light green patina.

Copper alloy possible ferrule. A conical sheet metal tube with a collared rounded solid top. Two holes of diameter 2mm in the side may be for fixing pins, and the lower edge is indented by the partial punching of a third, which remains blind. There, wood often survives within the tubes, indicating a relatively recent date for the object type. The ball end here is an unusual feature. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1850. A complete Medieval copper-alloy pin, probably for an annular buckle (c. 1250-c. 1450). The shaft is rectangular in cross-section and tapers to a point. The end of the open loop almost makes contact with the underside of the shaft. This pin is green with patches of a slightly darker green patina. Length: 33.1mm; width at loop: 5.0mm; thickness of shaft: 1.3mm; thickness including loop: 7.7mm. Weight: 1.66g. Annular buckles with similar pins have been published (Whitehead 2003: 17).
