An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy pin (c. 800-c. 900).
A small portion of the shaft is missing.
This pin has a spheroidal head with a collar between the head and shaft. The head has six circular evenly spaced pits as decoration. The shaft is circular in cross-section with a diameter of 1.1mm.
The pin has a green patina.
Length: 25.0mm; diameter of head: 6.1mm; height of head: 5.9mm. Weight: 1.21g.

A copper alloy pin. The head comprises a hollow cube with a circular hole in the centre of all four sides. The head of the pin is in the form of a turret, with a small upward projection at each corner. The pin is slender and has a sharp terminal.
