An incomplete Elizabethan two part lead cloth seal dating to c.1558-1600. Only one of the discs survive. The outer face of the surviving half is decorated with a crowned portcullis surrounded by a circumferential inscription suggesting an Elizabethan date (Egan 1992, 2) the inscription is largely illegible. The reverse has a central integral rivet.
