A Roman ceramic plain dish ("Dog Dish") in the style of Black Burnished ware (BB1, from Wareham/Poole Harbour, Dorset) vessel, dating c. AD 200-410. The vessel is a plain, straight sided bowl, of hard fired, dark grey fabric, with evidence of burnishing and wiping on both the internal and external surface.There is a decorative pattern of wide arches lattice that narrows in some area on external surface. A complete silver finger ring of uncertain date. The hoop is polygonal in plan with eight external facets (octagonal). In section, the hoop is rectangular. The ring is undecorated. A complete copper alloy crotal bell of post medieval date (AD 1500-1850). The object is of a single cast form with the two hemispheres divided by a slightly raised horizontal circumferential rib. A sound hole is placed on each side of the integral rectangular suspension loop with a sub-circular perforation, which is in the centre of the upper hemisphere. There is an incised decorative pattern consisting of repeating semi-circles, creating a 'sunburst' pattern. On the lower hemisphere there is a sound hole on each side, close to the joining rib.
