Fragment of a medieval or early post-medieval copper alloy plaque or monumental brass.
The surviving fragment is a strip from the edge of what was probably a larger rectangular plaque decorated on both sides. One side contains lines of incised black-letter text, though only the first letter of each line survives. Four lines are visible, with perhaps the lower part a fifth at line visible at the very top of the fragment.The edge to the left of the text appears to be original. The lines read:
