An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval annular buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650).
The pin is missing.
The buckle has a circular frame with a central bar. The upper face of the frame is convex, bevelled internally at the front and flat at the rear. It has a narrowed bar, roughly square in cross-section, flat at the rear. Both the frame and the bar are corroded and have traces of a dark green patina.
Diameter: 24.0mm; thickness: 2.8mm; maximum width of frame: 2.6mm. Weight: 2.38g.
