A iron and intaglio finger ring dating to the second or third century AD. The finger ring possesses an oval hoop which is D-shaped in section and expands significantly to wide shoulders. It has an integral setting for an intaglio which is in situ. The intaglio appears to be made from dark blue or black glass. The intaglio was originally engraved with motif.
