An incomplete gilded copper alloy mount dating to the Late Medieval to Early Post-Medieval period (c. AD 1300-1600). The mount is circular in plan, terminating at the top in three rounded lobes, with the central, larger lobe forming the apex. The mount is generally flat in cross section. A complete copper alloy annular buckle dating to the Medeival period (c. AD 1250-1450). The buckle is comprised of a simple circular frame, in plan and cross-section, with a thick copper alloy pin that has a penannular loop at the rear for attachment.
