The scale is flat and tongue-shaped in plan and possesses eight circular perforations, two on each of the scales' four sides. Two of the perforations are damaged. The scale measures 28mm in length, 17mm in width. This scale is of von Groller's Type VII.

An incomplete copper-alloy object, possibly a cuirass loop of Corbridge type from lorica segmentata armour dating to the Roman period. The object possesses a flat, rectangular plate which extends at one end to a rectangular-section tapering hook. The plate appears to be incomplete. The object measures 32mm in length, 13mm in width and has a thickness of 1mm. The identification is tentative as one would expect the plate to possess at least one rivet hole to secure the loop to the cuirass.

A copper-alloy pin probably dating to the fourteenth century AD. The pin comprises a circular-section stem which tapers to a point at one end. At the other end is an applied, hollow, lentoidal head constructed from two convex pieces of copper-alloy. The pin measures 45mm in length and the head has a diameter of 6mm. Egan and Pritchard (1991, 297) note that pins like this example were used to fasten veils. For parallels, see Egan and Pritchard 1991, p. 301, Fig. 200.

A complete bone needle probably dating to the Roman period. The stem is circular in section and highly polished. It tapers to a rounded point at one end. At the other, the stem flattens to accommodate an elongated oval faceted eye. Beyond the eye, the head is flattened further and semi-circular in plan. The needle measures 111mm in length and 4mm in diameter. The needle can be assigned to Crummy's Type 2 (Needles with flat spatulate head) (Crummy 1983, 65). This type appears in first to fourth century contexts.
