A fine grained compacted pale sandstone whetstone fragment. The remaining fragment is sub-rectangular and rounded on the unbroken face. There are four smooth surfaces worn on the unbroken face, and the object appears to have been used to sharpen small implements, such as knives. The object fits comfortably into the palm of the hand for the purpose of sharpening implements. The use of probable local stone for sharpening stones is characteristic of the period between the later Iron Age and the middle Saxon period. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) button brooch. It is a flat circular plate with the front face decorated with a frontal helmeted face encircled by an incised line. The details of the face such as the eys, the mouth and the edge of the helmet are realised with incised lines. All the lines have traces of gilding. The back face is plain with a slighlty thickening at one edge. Around the edge of the plate there are several breaks now worn. It is an unusual find in East Anglia while the type is normally found in Kent, see Suzuki (2009, p. 55). It is dated to AD 470-…

An incomplete Neolithic polished flint axehead (c. 4000 BC-c. 2351 BC). The butt end is missing due to an oblique break. This axehead is sub-rectangular in plan, roughly 'V'-shaped in side view and pointed oval in cross-section. Towards the truncated oblique butt end it becomes more rounded in cross-section.
