Stone pendant whetstone of probable early medieval date (c. 800 - 1100 AD). The whetstone is a long rectangular cuboid in shape with a surface that has been worn smooth through use. A rectangular flat projection of stone extends from the top; this is perforated with a circular hole so that the object could be worn as a pendant. The whetstone is dark purple in colour. A complete post-medieval lead alloy token, dated (AD) 1752. The token is well cast and decorative; one faces bears a five-pointed star or flower with pellets both within and between each petal, while the other side of the token has the initials S (dot) B above an exergue which contains the date 1752. A copper-alloy advertising token for the 'Pears Soap' company, probably dating c. 1861-1900. The token has been overstamped on a very worn 'dix centimes' struck for Napoleon III of France, dated 1861. The obverse face of the coin has been stamped with the legend 'PEARS SOAP. Preserved in fair condition with an even green patina, it measures 29.77mm in diameter, 1.74mm thick at its midpoint, and weighs 7.78g.
