Incomplete copper-alloy strap end dating from the early medieval period (c. 750 - 900 AD). The strap end is missing both ends, leaving most of the rectangular body with evidence of two circular rivet holes at the attachment end. One of the rivet holes is positioned centrally and the other is to one side of it, in the corner. The strap end has just started to fork at the point where it has broken, leaving a gap between the two copper-alloy sheets which is now filled with organic detriment. A lead alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post medieval date. The object is circular in plan and slightly bi-conical. In the centre of the object the perforation has an internal diameter of 9mm. One face is decorated with branching lines, interspersed with raised circular pellets. The second face is more regularly patterned with lines radiating outwards from the centre. All but one of the spaces between these lines contain a large pellet. The object has a white to pale brown patina.

A medieval copper alloy single looped buckle.
The buckle is oval shaped with a rectangular, and flat, outer edge. The strap bar and one of the sides of the buckle is missing. The outer edge has two lowered rectangular sections and a central pin rest. On the raised sections are engraved oblique lines. The whole piece, front and back, shines in the light, possibly because of traces from when it was either tinned or silvered, but the piece is too worn to be certain.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy trapezoidal double-looped buckle (c. 1570-c. 1700).
The pin and chape are missing.
The frame is trapezoidal in plan, convex at the front and rear. The drilled holes for the iron spindle contain the remains of the spindle. At the front a pair of transverse ridges flank each side of the spindle. On the rear face, in line with each spindle hole, there is a transverse swelling.
This buckle frame has a matt green patina with small areas of corrosion.

A copper-alloy Iron Age to Roman brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to c. AD 25-60. It comprises the fragmentary head and the part of the upper bow, which joins the spring case. The spring-case had an oval cross-section, although its back face has not survived, which makes visible the incomplete iron coils spring. The surviving bow tapers towards the break and it is humped in profile; the front face is decorated with five longitudinal grooves while there is a transverse raised line where the bow meets the spring case. The fragment is heavily abraded.

The strap end is long and cylindrical, widening and flattening at one end into a sharply pointed zoomorphic terminal. The terminal has two circular depressions next to each other on the upper face to form 'eyes'. The opposite end is also widened and flattened in a triangular shape, although the top of the attachment end is missing. The right wing is missing from the rest of the brooch and the left extends 10mm from the center. The bow is mostly straight, but leans slightly towards the left wing. There is no pin mechanism or pin attached to the brooch. The brooch is very plain, with no marks or decorations.
