A complete post-medieval silver Scottish six shillings of Charles I (AD 1625-1649), dated AD 1629. The coin has a right facing bust instead of the usual left, seen on English coins. The coin was equivalent in face value to a contemporary English sixpence. Spink 5543. This is only the second coin of its type recorded on this database. For the other see LVPL-020D82
