The main body is decorated with a moulded-relief openwork design featuring a raised linear circle with elongated knops to both sides. The area within the circle is plain. A rectangular attachment loop extends from one end. At the opposite end there is rearwards projecting hook that terminates with a sharp point. It is pelta shaped in plan, demonstrating a crescent shaped lower edge and an upper edge consisting of two bevelled, semi-circular cut out sections that create projecting outer 'arms' on each side of the object, though the ends of these are broken away in old damage. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch 'Hod Hill' Type, dating to AD 43-100. The brooch has four vertical ribs on the bow and three transverse ribs below the bow, the foot is plan and tappers towards a terminal of an slightly expanded oval defined at the top by a transverse groove. At the head of the brooch the are the remains of the flattened terminal of the bow, with a central pin slot, it is rolled forwards to hold a pin in place, now missing. The catch plate is pierced near its centre with a single circular hole. A similar brooch is illustrated in Mackreth (2011:96 No.8975) …

A complete uniface Token of Medieval to Post Medieval date (AD 1250-1800). Powell Type 30. One face of the token has a cross and pellet design with one pellet in each quarter, the other side is blank. The metal is a light cream in colour Diameter: 19.48mm, Thickness: 2.23mm, Weight: 4.0g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. Therefore those with simple designs are given a more general Medieval to Post Medieval date.
