Medieval gilt copper alloy horse harness pendant, worn, corroded and partly obscured by concreted soil. Engrailed octofoil, depicting the head of John the Baptist on a dish or platter within a wreath of mitres, with a cross above and below. Slightly bent. Height 52.5mm. Width 42mm. Very close to an example from Martham (HER 33393), illustrated in Ashley (2002) fig. 23, no. 224, and mistakenly identified as bearing the head of Christ. Late 13th-14th century.

An incomplete copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700). The vessel fragment is sub rectangular in shape and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a straight body, with an external central rib. The internal surface is rough. A complete, shield shaped, copper alloy harness pendant dating from the Medieval period, AD 1200 - 1400. The heraldic design is of a lion rampant on a field of enamel, but the original colours are lost. There is a flat, integral suspension arm, pierced with a circular hole at the upper end, set at right angles to the plane of the body. The pendant is 28.5mm long, 16mm wide and 5.3mm thick. It weighs 3.36gm.

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy tweezers made with adjustable slide or band on the shaft, similar to those found on page-holders. The tweezers are sub- rectangular in shape. The top of the tweezers ends in an old break. Both faces have incised zigzag lines and a rope collar separates the slides with the neck. The tweezers are bent at an angle. The tweezers in 57.3mm in length, 7.2mm in width, 5.3mm in thickness, and weighs 5.13g. Similar tweezers can be seen in Biddle 1990, page 690-692, especially 2189 P. Also see PAS record HAMP98.

The latter has a central perforation, rivet missing. Cf. Two pieces excavated in Norwich (Emery 2007, fig. 5.93 and pl. 5.12, SF 81 and SF 609). Height 46mm. Width 30mm (height and width of inner element 32 and 21.5mm). 13th - 14th century.
