A complete silver post-medieval sixpence of Elizabeth I. Dated 1561-1665. London (Tower) mint. Pheon initial mark both sides. Third Issue; North 1997. Obverse description: Crowned bust left; rose behind head. Obverse inscription: ELIZABETH D G ANG FR ET HI RE[G]INA. Reverse description: Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend; date 156? above shield. Reverse inscription: POSVI DEV AD IVTOREM [M]EV (I have made God my Helper).
