An incomplete copper-alloy Late Iron Age to Early Roman brooch of the Rosette Type, dating to AD 20-60. The spring-case has an oval cross-section and a sub-rectangular shape in plan. It is damaged on its back face showing the coil spring still in situ; the pin is missing. The sub-oval integral cast disc plate joins the lower part of the front face of the spring case. The disc has a circular hole in the centre and several concentric shallow grooves along its circumference. An incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post medieval date, 1600-1720. It is sub-oval in shape with the top edges being bevelled and the underneath flat, with a central pin bar. The frame has rounded ends and trefoil sides. The strap bar has three incised lines on both sides where the bar meets the frame. These lines make the frame appear raised between the lines, but this section is flush with the rest of the frame. An incomplete medieval cast iron rotary key dating to c AD 1250 - 1425. The key is a Ward Perkins Type 7a, has a kidney shaped bow, projecting solid shank, and simple bit. The shank is oval in cross section. There is a collar or throating below the bow and this collar is a simple thickening of the shank. The bit is a sub triangular extension of the shank, it projects at right angles to the bow. and is 15mm wide and 22.6 mm in length, although it may originally have been more. An incomplete Medieval sheet metal copper alloy crotal bell dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1400. The bell is spherical in shape. The integral suspension loop is sub-ovate in shape and is 8.7mm high, 14.3mm wide and 7.4mm thick. The suspension loop is formed from a piece of sheet metal soldered to the top of the bell. The frame has two oval loops with angled outer edges and a small, rounded knop at each end of the strap bar. The outer edges on the upper side of the buckle are bevelled and the underside is flat.
